Dylan Brod

Dylan is a dancer, singer, and actress based in New York City. They currently attend PPAS as a Musical Theatre major and member of the National Honor Society. Dylan has choreographed and served as Dance Captain for many of the productions.

Dylan has been the President of the Dance Molinari chapter of the NHSDA (National Honor Society in Dance Arts) since 2023 and has worked as the Dance Captain for their annual Holiday Hop fundraiser. As a long-time DMO dancer, Dylan has been training with the DMO team since they were 7-years-old.

In addition, Dylan trains as a member of Brooklyn’s Elite Dance Complex and was named the 2023 National Teen Title Winner at On Stage America. Dylan trains in all styles of dance and acro including partner work. Dylan (aka Bgirl Shortstack) is a member of Brooklyn’s Breaking Academy, is active in the ‘breaking’ community, and has performed at World of Dance on multiple occasions.

Dylan has also worked on many cabaret stages in NYC, in musical theatre productions at PPAS, KOTA, and Gallery Players. Recently, they appeared as a featured dancer on an episode of Blacklist.

When not performing, Dylan has taught a variety of dance and acro classes at Elizabeth’s Dance Image where they first started dance training. They are passionate about Greek Mythology and creating new looks by designing their own upcycled clothing.
